Your plan starts immediately after you activate it connecting your eSIM to any supported device. For example, if you bought a 7-day plan and you activate your plan at 9 AM, it remains active for 7 days, concluding 7 days later at 9 AM.
eSIM only allows you to use mobile data. It does not include a local phone number for mobile calls or messages. You can still make or receive calls and messages using apps like WhatsApp.
Apple Devices:
- iPhones: Models from the iPhone XR onwards, including the iPhone 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 series, support eSIM. Notably, iPhone models in the USA starting from iPhone 14 do not have a physical SIM slot.
- iPads: iPads with cellular capability, such as the iPad Air (3rd generation onwards), iPad Mini (5th generation onwards), and iPad Pro (11-inch and 12.9-inch from 3rd generation onwards).
Samsung Devices:
- Phones: Includes models like the Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy S22, S23 series, Galaxy Note 20, and foldable phones like Galaxy Z Flip3, Z Flip4, Z Fold3, and Z Fold4.
- Tablets: Certain models of the Galaxy Tab series also support eSIM.
Google Devices:
- Phones: Google Pixel models from Pixel 3 onwards (excluding some regional versions of Pixel 3), including Pixel 4, 5, 6, 7, and the latest Pixel 8 series.
Other Brands:
- Huawei: Models such as the P40, P40 Pro, and Mate 40 Pro.
- Motorola: Models like the Motorola Razr series, Edge+, and Edge 40 Pro.
- Xiaomi: Models including the Mi 11, 12 series, and 13 series.
- Sony: Xperia 1 IV, Xperia 5 IV, and Xperia 10 IV.
- Oppo: Models such as the Oppo Find X3 Pro, Reno6 Pro 5G, and others.
- OnePlus: Models like OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 12.
- Others: Devices from brands like Honor, Nokia, and even some Fairphone models.
Additional Devices:
- Tablets and Laptops: Some models from Apple (iPads), Microsoft (Surface Duo series), and others support eSIM.
- Smart Watches: Models like the Apple Watch Series 3 and later with cellular capability, and certain Samsung Galaxy Watch models.
Once you purchase your eSIM, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions to install it immediately using a QR code or manual code. Remember that once the eSIM is purchased, it cannot be returned.
You don’t need to do anything to keep your WhatsApp number. You’ll automatically keep your number, contacts and conversations.
Yes. To ensure that your eSIM gets the best coverage, you must turn on data roaming on your mobile settings. This will not incur any additional charges, as long as you have already set up the YouGuide eSIM

If you use all your data or run out of days, your eSIM card will no longer work and you will lose internet connection but you can always top up or buy a new eSIM.
An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM card that can be installed directly into your smartphone or other mobile devices. It is an alternative to the physical, removable SIM card you’re used to.
